Florida and other U.S. states: Same application and grade-level steps below. We help you get started in our program; your family also follows your state's private-school requirements (such as notice or attendance) when your state expects them.
International families: You're welcome on the same academic basis as U.S. students. Learning is online from your home country; we do not issue U.S. student visas (e.g., I-20). If prior records aren't in English, we may ask for a certified translation or a credential evaluation—we'll tell you exactly what to send.
Florida families: We provide official transcripts and course information when Florida districts or colleges need to review your student's record. Tuition is assessed at Mind Orbit Academy's published private rates in full, without in-state reduction; Mind Orbit Academy does not participate in Florida or other state-funded scholarship programs. See Tuition & fees and Disclaimers (Florida residence and tuition parity).
We look for age eligibility (or prior grade completion for transfers), a completed application, and a parent or guardian ready to support daily online learning. You'll need reliable internet and a device that meets our specs—we'll share details as you enroll.
We review prior coursework and grades (official transcript or equivalent), use placement or entrance work in math and English when helpful, and consider your application and any recommendations or short interviews. We also confirm your student is ready to learn well online.
We review prior coursework and an official transcript, use placement or entrance assessments when helpful, and check prerequisites for advanced tracks if your student wants them. The application may include recommendations and sometimes a short essay or interview. Transfer students submit official transcripts and meet any stated prerequisites.
Coming to Mind Orbit: Share an official transcript (and course descriptions if you have them). For schools outside the U.S., we may need a certified English translation or a credential evaluation—we'll be specific. Students from homeschool or non-traditional paths may take placement assessments so we start them in the right place.
Leaving Mind Orbit later: We provide official transcripts and supporting documents on request. Any new school or college makes its own credit decisions—that's standard for private schools everywhere.
