Elementary (Kindergarten–5): Students working toward grade-level mastery in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies in a fully online delivery model; documented instructional time; annual capstone or major project; promotion based on demonstrated competency (elementary promotion does not rely on Carnegie units—see Academics).
Middle school (6–8): Students earning Carnegie credit toward high school preparation (e.g., approximately four credits per year in typical pacing, with pathway-aligned capstones as published in program outlines).
High school (9–12): College-preparatory diploma pathway—commonly 24–26+ total credits in typical programs; annual capstones including senior year; honors and Advanced Placement where offered and consistent with course availability.
Core instruction, practice, and recorded assessments are delivered online through the Academy's learning management system and related tools—the same environment enrolled students access through Learn. Families may participate from their chosen location where connectivity and Academy policies permit. Enrollment is limited to applicants who satisfy published admission criteria and applicable state and federal expectations for private online education.
Curriculum design and academic oversight are led by doctoral-level faculty and researchers, consistent with the emphasis on evidence-aligned scope and sequence elsewhere on this site. U.S. instructional personnel meet credentialing expectations appropriate to their assignments (typically a bachelor's degree or higher in the field or equivalent, where applicable).
Students receive individualized support through the Intelligent Learning Coach—adaptive, one-to-one instructional assistance integrated with online coursework—alongside subject-area instruction and assessment as described in Learn and program materials.
Course content is aligned to recognized K–12 standards where applicable—including Common Core State Standards (English language arts and mathematics), Florida B.E.S.T. expectations for Florida students where relevant, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and C3–style social studies inquiry frameworks—consistent with the detailed notes on Academics and Curriculum Map & Program Outlines. Instruction emphasizes coherent sequencing, competency-based advancement, and documented student growth.
Accreditation is voluntary for private schools; the Academy does not state or imply specific accrediting recognition except as published. For current statements on accreditation status, state compliance, and related limitations, see Disclaimers.
